The provisions of the Explanatory Notes to headings 73.07 and 74.12 apply, mutatis mutandis, to this heading.
The heading does not cover :(a) Clamps and other devices specially designed for assembling parts of structures (heading 76.10). (b) Hangers and brackets to support tubing; aluminium bolts and nuts used for assembling or fixing pipes or tubes (heading 76.16). (c) Fittings with taps, cocks, valves, etc. (heading 84.81).
