Heading 6908 : Glazed ceramic flags and paving, hearth or wall tiles; glazed ceramic mosaic cubes and the like, whether or not on a backing.
This heading covers those articles of the previous heading which have been glazed, frequently after some form of decoration (see also the Explanatory Note to heading 69.07). For the purposes of this heading, the term glazing includes methods using the enamels, glazes, etc., of heading 32.07, salt glazing (i.e., sodium chloride is introduced into the oven where it volatilises and the vapour reacts with the clay body to form a glaze), etc.
